APP DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Our first forays into mobile apps and services was in 2000, developing WAP and SMS products for consumers. The world has moved on since then, and we can provide business development, conceptual design, visual design, and implementation and integration of innovative and demanding mobile apps for the second decade of the 21st century.
OUR TEAM
Allan Halme
Allan has nineteen years of experience in software product development, operations, management, and consulting. He was Senior Director and head of the Nokia office in Vancouver, Canada, where he led the developer operations and service R&D for Nokia’s App Store on all Nokia software platforms; and earlier he worked on corporate technology and developer strategy for the Nokia executive board. Allan was also at Accenture Technology Services in Finland, where he led the Java custom software development business unit; for clients, he led teams developing large-scale enterprise software systems and provided consulting and training on agile and iterative software development methods and tools.
The first time Allan created mobile apps and services was in 2000-2002, when he led a team developing group messaging using WAP, HTML, and SMS.
Allan founded Varpu Works in 2013. This is his third startup.
